'Selmunett' is a charming family run luxury bed and breakfast located on the edge of the village of Naxxar, which is more or less in the centre of the island. We have two en suite bedrooms and a lovely swimming pool and garden for the use of guests. The sea at St Paul's bay is a ten-minute car drive.The capital of Valetta is 15 minutes away; the airport and golf course are 20 minutes away. If Golf is your fancy, we can lend you a set of clubs. 

We strongly recommend that you hire a car for your time in Malta. We would be happy to arrange this for you when you place your booking. The new bus service in Malta is great with fully air-conditioned and modern buses with many routes round the Island. Our local bus stop is three minutes from the house. Fitness enthusiasts, during the cooler weather, might like to consider bicycles, which again we can arrange. Whilst we do not provide evening meals, we have a full list of restaurants, pubs and bars that we recommend listed here on our site.

Please note:-

As we have only one swimming pool, we politely reserve the right to use the pool for our family during the hours of 11 am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30 am to 18.30 pm on Sundays.  

However this small restriction only applies during the summer months from June to end of September. Otherwise guests are more than welcome to use our pool at any time outside these months. We do try to be as flexible as possible and if we are not actually using the pool for our family on a particular day we will let you know and you can certainly make use of it.

Remember we have beautiful sandy beaches around the island which are very accessible from Selmunett and great for swimmers.
